cut my hand on glass the beginning of may and im still taking the bunt of it. cut it drying dishes. between my pinky and ring finger I sliced the web apart and had to get 14 stitches. I had chicks hatch 3 days before that and I couldn't hold them. now they are wild and crazy. AND I couldn't go on BYC because I couldn't type! now im trying to hop back on.
I have to do PT to spread my hand and stuff. just last week I could finally straighten it all the way. it hurts so bad in the morinings and cramps.
ANYWHO UNITE! LOL

yep so im trying again.
Stress, like almost being eaten, will often stop them from laying. It could take a couple of weeks for her to start again.Only way to do it!
Something went after Penelope a few days ago - no bird losses, but the eggs that were in the nest were destroyed (fortunately, I'd swapped out the turkey eggs for chicken eggs!) Now, she seems to have stopped laying - or at least I can't find them. I've looked everywhere I can think of. I have two of her eggs percolating in the Brinsea, and five more in the cool room; if she doesn't lay more in the next week, or if I can't find them, I'll set those on the 10th - but I hope to have MORE...more....more....![]()
