I want turkeys though I'll probably set chicken eggs if I can't find turkeys.

I'd like to join. I have a incubator that should be empty this weekend. I won't have turkey eggs because my hen died on her nest. Its her eggs in the bator now.

Wish I had some turkey eggs, I'd join.. But alas, I don't even have any turkeys yet... Anyone have eggs that live close to York, PA?

I can ship- for those that are considering local eggs- try looking at turkey posts from that section of BYC from the past...it's a long shot, but if you don't want shipped, it's still an option.

You can set anything for this hatch. Doesn't *have* to be turkeys.

I do have eggs to ship, and I pack in foam. I know it helps a lot.

I started with shipped eggs from folks in this very thread, so the fact that I *have* turkeys is testimony that shipped turkey eggs can hatch!!


Also, maybe check Craigslist in your area? I see them around here all the time.

I did this and a women got ahold of me...Just one person but it was all I needed, she is getting rid of her turkey's but I'm not up for adults yet, So she sold me 17 eggs for 10 bucks!! I am alittle early for the hatch a along but they are in and on day 4... anxious for day 10 and candling...always nervous when I get things from someone I don't know

I will be setting ancona ducks, call ducks (if they get back to laying in time), slate & slate/palm (mottled babies) & rainbow layers with the possibility of Crested EE (tossed my Polish quad in with the layers) & Silkie mixes (tossed 2 blue partridge silkie roos in with the layers too.)

Im going to be setting Bourbon Red turkey eggs, mixed breed duck eggs, then the next week I plan to set Cream Legbar and Sexlink eggs.

I have 8 turkey eggs and 3 duck eggs saved up so far.

I working on building a cabinet style cooler bator right now. Im hoping to be done with it this weekend so I can start incubating in it. Im hoping it will hold between 150-200 eggs total(though Im not setting that many right now)

I may take you up on that offer for turkey eggs. I'm just not finding anyone local and set day is Monday already.

Well I thought I was only going to have chicken eggs, but I found a Turkey egg today. Happy Dance... my Blue Slate is tiny and was in terrible shape when I got her. I doubted she would lay this year. She has improved a lot and is in love with me and my BR tom. I've been keeping her away from the toms except for a few hours when they free range. I've saw them do the deed so I may just have turkey eggs. Now I just need another incubator. LOL. Technically I guess they won't be part of this hatchathon, but I'm excited.
