Spend a little more time showing the poults where the water and food is repeatedly. I"ve hear two schools of throught-- poults need a parent to help with these feeding activities and two they dont. I tend to err on the give help side as I don't want to lose them.

I have a number of mixed breeds turkey eggs if anyone is interested.  12 eggs for $44-- double boxed in the large priority box. WOuld like to ship them out today. 6 eggs are $30

THese are from 2 pens. A mix of AUburn, narriganset, bourbon reds ( 3-way crosses mostly) and a pen of sweetgrass that had a BR male in it along with 3 SG males. So 3/4 chance of pure SG from that pen.

I need to run a few errands this morning so I"ll check back at 10am est.  

How have like twelve people not taken you up on this?

Its day 7 for my three turkey eggs, they appear clear, I should see something in turkey day 7 right? I will let them in, but I think Mr. Shakeybakey isnt doing his job when he shakes and bakes!

It depends on your flashlight. I was able to see veining at day 3 and movement by around day 5 I think. If you have the room, I'd leave them in a little longer though.

Sally, I would wait another few days and then peek again, and then wait another few days and check again. I'm optomistic!!

I had a chick with a definite blood ring and was so depressed that my buckeye hopeful was a dashed dream , I kept the egg in the incubator and kept turning it with all the others. Wallowing in depression each time, and them candled it with all the others and it was dark!!!!! Holly crap. THat cannot happen!!!

GIve them a good chance unless you have other hopefuls to take it's place.
