My totally relaxed non dead chicken. Her name is Waffle, she's incredibly cuddly and likes to stretch her neck waaaaay out to get proper comfy on my lap. She enjoys the pets and scratches

She's doing an absolute great job of it!

With her being my favorite chicken, she better not ever do that when I go outside to see her! I would absolutely panic if I saw her in that position in her pen. Fortunately, the pictures I posted is when I got her out of the pen for some foraging time, so I knew that she was going to immediately collapse whenever she found a sun spot.

Waffle looks very relaxed! I have a cockerel that extends his neck like that and droops it over my arm when I am holding him.
