Same chicken melting as a chick, I thought she got stepped on or something nope just soaking up the sun

When it is a lovely day outside, with no wind blowing, I let my rescued Turtle dove, with the broken wing, walk around the garden for some exercise. She doesn't do the "dead" nap thing, but she does suddenly drop down in random spots to sun herself, which for the unprepared could look like she is in the throes of dying...

Once she has had her exercise, I have to chase after her until she will let me pick her up to take her back to her cage, which means I get some exercise too.

Outside the run was Alfredo and Marsala. Looking on, in the run, was Sassy(Sassafras). I no longer have these girls but they were pretty entertaining
