This chicken is not dead

Thanks all!
I do have a backup dog in mind if Beasley ends up elsewhere. Its a labradoodle. We usually stick with boxers or bully breeds, so it would be a change, but the dog has a face that reminds me of my wirehaired doxie who passed away a few years ago. So whatever will be, will be.

Keep us posted Janie!

Good luck!
We met Beasley today. We are going to schedule a home visit after his vet check next week. If he and Brewster, and the cats, get along okay, he will be our new baby. I'm a little bit worried because he hasn't had any contact with cats (or chickens) but we will see how it goes.
He is super skinny. They say he has put on weight since he was rescued, so he must have been all bones when they found him.

Hope the home visit goes well Janie, he could be an awesome addition to your clan ❤️

It is Pooh. I promise she is fine. She is now tucking in to second breakfast.
