This chicken is not dead

I didn't think it was a competition lol I was confused🤣

Everyone’s a winner here 🥰

The aim is have fun and laugh over those heart stopping moments when we look outside a see someone keeled over!

Reenie here was flat out one day! I rarely see the horses laying down outside (they sleep in their stalls inside at night). But there she was flat out. I ran over and she sat up. Phew! I left her and just watched, she was sunning herself I guess.

Beautiful!!!!!!

Let the flock out early today. 2 of my Barred Rocks had dramatic "deaths" a couple steps into the sun. The others callously walked over them in their rush for some forage time.

Don't worry. The rooster revived them and herded them into the woods. I imagine he was concerned they looked like a delicious buffet for hawks.

When I first got chickens the first time the two chicks I got threw themselves down in the sun I freaked out and called my niece!

“Aunt Kelly, they are sunbathing, they’ll be fine”

Same deal when they first dirtbathed - I thought for sure they were dying! I am also sure my niece thinks I’m an idiot! Horses at least snore!
