This guy is six weeks old -why so small and what breed?

The feed store I got him from simply labeled as a frizzle. this baby is six weeks old and still fits in the palm of my hand. I mean I know bantams can be small but uhm this small? so anyways does anyone have any clue what this might be I thought perhaps a black cochin?

Unfortunately, she’s a frazzle.
A frazzle happens when you cross two frizzled parents. The chick that hatches is so over-frizzled that barely any feathers grow.

Bantam Cochin. I believe she is a failure to thrive chick.

How does she act? Is she active, eating and drinking well like other chicks, or does she act helpless, etc. She could be failure to thrive, or she just isn't 6 weeks old. If she's acting normal, I'd write it off as way younger than the employee said.

it seems to eat and drink fairly well. as far as the age, we have has it for 6 weeks so at a minimum we know that that it is that old. right now it’s living with two silver laced Wyandotte that I got at the same time but very soon they are going to be moved to our main flock.

Really? And she's acting, eating and drinking just fine?
What are you feeding? What is your brooder setup like? Are you raising her with other chicks? If so, are the other chicks growing and acting fine?

feeding medicated crumbles. is bedding down with The Wyandottes and previously with 4 cuckoo marans, all the other chicks are growing at normal rate, definitely no aggression amongst them. He sleeps underneath the wyandottes.
