Yep...I've come to this realization, sadly. I'm glad I asked beforehand, I don't want anymore roosters! I've already had to give away half my birds! I have never had luck with chicks.

Thank you for your input. Definitely a late bloomer, and hasn't found his voice yet I guess! I have a silkie who I'm on the edge of being a rooster too - just waiting to hear that crow before I'm 100%.

Sorry, but appears to be a cockerel I have at least 5 cockerels right now and I know that I am going to be rehoming a lot this summer

I have already given away over half my flock because they turned out to be roosters. So much money (and love) down the drain because no one would take them if they had to pay. I'm hoping with this next "purge" people will be willing to make a trade

He is absolutely gorgeous!!!
No grey washing on feet, comb below nares and all that white...dead give aways for a Cockrel.
Sure is gorgeous though!
