This is applicable in how many states, I wonder?

Way off for the south.

Yeah, but then a fairy tale starts "Y'all won't believe what happened...."

Where I grew up you also add these terms...

Out the road.....

In the fall you go to moose camp or around here, the deer lease....

When the wedding invitation includes the verbal invitation of "everybody's welcome, the reception is at the Legion Hall"

Where there is no such thing as a one bar town or one church town.

Where the driveway has at least one of the following: a pickup, a boat, boat parts, fishing gear, car parts, or airplane parts...

Where normal living room decor includes at least one dead animal or pictures of dead animals...

Ah yes, the Design School of Dead Decor.

Good Lord, everything but warrssh applies to me. Last weekend up in Battle Lake, Clitherall and Vining, deer hunting was in full swing. I love Minnesota!
It didn't hurt that deer were everywhere.

Vining! Did you take pictures with the sculptures?

No, I'm up there frequently, so didn't. I did spend quite a bit of time in the Bigfoot sipping coffee and talking with their sculptor, Bob Nyberg. He invited us over to his place to see the giant buffalo he's working on. Quite a guy that Bob. His daughter rode the Space shuttle btw.

I saw that about his daughter on the news one night. Cool stuff!

Very funny. I very clearly remember that frozen metal post in kindergarten.
My mom grew up in MN and we would go there to visit in the summers a lot, waay, waay out in the northern sticks. Wawina, not Wadina. I grew up in the small town of Niwot, CO.
