This is so freaking awesome.

That is an awesome selling point, an American business exercising American freedoms. Nowhere else on earth could you see this.

turning an AK into fully automatic takes a receiver kit and some parts that are all legal to purchase, but illegal to convert without a license. Now, getting a trigger system pre-ban allows you to essentially turn a Legal Semi-Auto into something fun at the range. Not practical, but fun. 3rd or 4th shot and you are fighting to keep the barrel down lol.

I don't know how folks are doing it with .308's on full auto

That'd hurt.

Wouldn't mind having a AK47 myself

. And Pelican, a lot of people ALREADY have LOADS of semi-autos.. Think about all of the 22., 22mags, 9mm, 270s, etc.. Most anyone who has a gun has a semi-automatic somewhere, so I assume anyone who would want a AK47 probably has one already. Matter of fact, my dad has a semi-auto 270, a SK, a semi-auto 12 gauge (1100 Remington), 9mm pistol, my brother has a semi-auto 22, I want a semi-auto 22mag for a varmint rifle. Not to mention my leaver action 30-30 etc lol.. We have a couple more guns, but they're bolt action rifles/pump shotguns.

Haha, good luck converting an AK to full auto.

Last statistics I saw, only about 2% of full-auto guns captured had been converted from semi-auto. Also, semi-autos are NOT hard to find at all. Heck, you can get military surplus carbines pretty dang cheap. I myself have a semi-auto .22 rifle. Looking to purchase an AK as soon as I've got the cash, though.

Besides, I'd feel even safer if lots of people had full autos. You'd have to be a moron to break into anywhere in that situation.

With the economy the way it is you can pick up some low end full autos in the $4,000 range. Mostly Macs but there are some deals to be had. Tax stamps are involved though.

Personally I'm not a fan of AKs. I'll take an SKS anyday. Still reliable as ever but more accurate. Just me though.

Cool!!! For the first time in my life, I wish I lived in Florida.

I'm VERY pro-gun myself. It doesn't matter what laws there are, criminals always find some way to get guns. In countries where guns are banned their crime rate is very high. Why? Because the criminals are still able to get guns, and become bold because nobody else is supposed to have guns. And then when somebody with an illegal gun tries to defend his family and property, he gets fined and put in jail. How sick is that?
