This is awesome — More ducklings, please! @Texas Kiki, you're like one of those parasites (in a good way) that strikes as soon as the immune system/self control is lowered in the slightest... then, BAM! Infected.

I blame it all on Batty.

I'm already looking forward to the first candling session. I'm going to wait until day 7 or so though.
Haha good luck day 5 is usually the longest I can go. and I can see veins.
Day 7! You are going to miss so much.
She really is the worst. An all out bird hoarder if I've ever seen one.
I blame it all on Batty.
Probably wise. Kiks won't let you sleep, otherwise. She'll badger you til you break.I'm probably going to cave under the pressure and candle at day 4 or something![]()
Yeah, and that little rebel Kiki decided to hatch the eggs insteadIt was NOT intentional I swear! We we having a little taste test comparison here on BYC duck eggs vs chicken eggs vs backyard vs store bought vs quail eggs vs turkey eggs etc. and @Texas Kiki somehow accidentally ended up with balut eggs in the process and the rest is historyI have never hatched anything in my life!
I can already feel her breathing down my neck here! lolProbably wise. Kiks won't let you sleep, otherwise. She'll badger you til you break.

How often do you roll them? How much? I will do this one day... ONE day, not today.Bantering aside, many of you know I'm a huge Brinsea fan, but so far I'm not as happy with the Maxi II eco, compared to my previous Eco 20. It takes ages to recover temperature when I open the lid and I had to fiddle quite a bit to get the humidity in the 40% range. All good now though, but that temperature drop is a worry when I need to roll the eggs.
Gosh, a few times a day. Roll them right over to the opposite side of the egg. Most people call this turning, but I don't turn them, I roll them lolHow often do you roll them? How much? I will do this one day... ONE day, not today.
