I'm definitely telling her no- just have to be really "delicate" about it. I finally got around to reading the messages she sent me (holy crap!) and I'm really afraid of some kind of retaliation.

If you think she may come to your place and take a goose or do damage, let the local authorities know. You could report her to the SPCA as well.

I just sent her the "I cannot in good conscience give you any more birds" letter. Hoping we don't have any trouble and we can concentrate on healing this little girl.

Oh my god I got about 5 pages of nasty letters last night- she's reporting ME to all these agencies AND having someone come and take my 2 dogs away from me. I'm afraid to leave the farm.

let the agencies come...and see how wonderful your animals are and in what a superb enviroment they grow up in!...then show them the goose this woman brought back and the state of it after being in her care for a few months.
keep ALL her mails and if she doesnt stop report her to the local authorities for harassement....just make sure to keep everything as evidence....also if she calls log the date and time.


ive recently gone through something similar with a disgruntled 'customer' (i gave her 2 free chickens)
both died after she went on holiday and thought theyd be ok for two weeks alone(!!!!!!!) she then started the whole 'you gave me 2 sick chickens, i want you to replace them' then when i refused she tried threatening me with everything she could think of.
in the end i made a big file with all her mails in and logs of calls, times she appeared at my door banging at all hours (i swear she had a screw loose in her head)
i sent her a copy of the file and informed her if i heard one more time from her id be taking the file to the police.


i didnt hear from her again. i think she got shocked into seeing how many times she mailed/rang/called round in a matter of a few weeks and how threatening/horrible her own mails had been.
