Good grief and good for you! But ya know what, I know someone who would probably do the same thing -- just to get a free night away.

the weird thing is that he wasnt scared of her until recently.

Lol when my friends see the chickens they are ALWAYS asking "Do they bite?" I can't see how they are afraid of my bantam chickens.

I like most of my son's friends, he is a teenager and most teenagers are fun. Our neighbors kid practically lives with us in the summer. My DS and his buddies usally hit the creek to swim or fish in, or walk down to the river to fish, ride bikes, walk to other buddies to play video games (he has a friend with crohns disease down the road) my DS knows he dosen't get to get out much when he feels bad so he normally visits him alot to cheer him up, plus his sick buddy gets to make more friends too. There was only one friend we had to run off, I had a really weird feeling about being able to trust this kid for some odd reason (you just ever get that gut feeling about someone). Anyway I always explain the rules to his friends and tell them what my DS is, and is not allowed to do, and I expect the same from them if they overstep the boundary it is a trip home. So kid tried to talk my DS into disobeying and smoking some cigs with him

, oh no no I took him home and he ain't been back, I don't put up with it. When I lay the law...it's the law. But as for most of the kids that visit they are pretty good kids. The neighbors kid says he has to stay over when my DS has other friends over to make sure we don't like them better than him

, he is so silly.

does anyone else bribe their kids friends into doing lots of yardwork and chores for them??

I have a good friend that is quite the city girl. Our chickens are very friendly. If you go near them, they assume you might have treats and run up to you. My friend came out one day when I wasn't home. She keeps her horses in my pasture so that's not too uncommon. She is horrified of the chickens and will always run from them. Well the flock saw her out there and went to check her out for treats. I guess it turned out to be quite a fiasco because she kept running from them. They chased her all over the yard for quite a while. She thought they were attacking. They thought she had treats.
