Yeah, the new heart Doctor is a "he". I was laughing my butt off because my kid sister has one of those cell phone thinggys that she can get on the internet with. She had taken off work and drove in from Memphis to be with me for it. She was reading off the guy's INTIRE career right there in front of him.
"humm looks like you got your medical license in 19** at so and so, you were in a fellowship at so and so... is your wife really a Doctor too?. hummm so you went to school at *** do you mind if I see this award you won for being the most liked Doctor at ** hospital"? Are you felling pretty good today?, nothing going on that would have you distracted while you're working on him today is there? hummm you don't look much like you did when this picture online was taken, you might want to update that. I suppose all your insurance is up to date... no late payments on your insurance or anything? Your credit score is a bit lower than I would have expected for a young Specialist in your posistion... maybe you've made a large purchase lately? Do you mind if I get your home phone number just in case I think of more questions later? oh... never mind... I found it here...
My sis is a mess! I love her to pieces, but she just ain't right!
the only down side was there was only one really hot nurse... and nope, I didn't get that one.
I got the 7' tall one wth hairy arms and a nose that had been broken some years ago.
6 stents here and darn near close to a bypass but the dr. said he opted for 5 stents instead because of my age. The 1st stent I had was my first heart attack in April '09 at the tender age of 35. 99% clogged but the walk in dr. told me I was too young to have heart problems and told me I was having a muscle spasm and sent me home. Well, 8 pm that night I decided to call 911 and found out that I wasn't too young to have heart problems after all. Got wheeled in to the cath lab and the nurse said I was a VERY LUCKY girl. It was very surreal watching them thread that thing through your heart and seeing it up on a tv screen...I had to turn my head...I was having a hard time bein alone and stuff and goin through this by myself. All I kept thinking about was my 2 little girls and how they needed me and how this mama had to get back home.
I'm glad the outlook is a positive one for you MFB. Glad you had your wife and sister there to be there for ya. And as I experianced...the love, prayers, and practical jokes so lovingly displayed by our very own BYC family does the heart and soul good too.
God bless ya even if there's an Imp starin in your key hole.
You must listen to doctor's orders & rest....my brother had this done last month...felt so good about 10 days later, he decided it wouldn't hurt to haul some round bales out to the cows....regardless of his wife's blowing a fuse. Guess where he spent Christmas??? Don't be a stubborn @ss.....Give your body time to heal!!
We've sent a strait jacket for physical restraint, tranquilizers for chemical restraint, and if necessary Terra can call upon sirbirdaholic and me to appear with whatever form of threat necessary to make him take it easy. Did anyone see that rectoscope?
Morning MFB hope you're not feeling too whupped and painful this AM.
