THIS WHOLE TIME!!!!!

Everyone!!!! This whole time I've been agonizing and waiting for my chickens to start laying, I finally found my first eggs Sunday. I found a random egg in my husband's shed just now while looking for something so I decided to tear the shed apart. WELL this is what I found!!!

So I'm assuming I have to chunk all of these beings I don't know how long they've been there as I only have 3 white egg layers!?? Lol

It happens. When it gets hot a couple of my girls like to lay in places other than their nest boxes. I do regular patrols of all the likely places but I still get a surprise sometimes when I stumble on a clutch. Yes, pitch those eggs - not worth the risk!!!

I have been waiting for my girls to lay too and I was worried they might be laying in the woods so I kept them confined to the coop and run all day today and low and behold there was an egg in the coop late this afternoon! So either there are really eggs in the woods or it was a first egg lol.
