I'd much rather do chicken chores than clean my own house. Hoe out the old shavings in the coop? No problem! Rake the run? Sure! Scrub waterers? I'm all for it. Dust and vacuum the house? Yeah, RIGHT - why on Earth would I want to spend my day off doing that?

I despise housework (and never had kids, so I lack human minions to do my bidding), but I don't at all mind outdoor or animal chores. Maybe I should give up the house and live in a yurt.

Ha! glad I am not the only one!! My hubby complains that I will spend hours cleaning the coop and
won't the house. I wonder why that is? I mean really cleaning a toilet isn't as hard as cleaning a coop?
Dishes, easy compaired to scrubbing waterers. Mopping or hauling poo shavings. What is wrong with us lol...

I don't know...I enjoy both. I like fixing fence or messing with the livestock, but I also like a clean house. I'm actually a little obsessive about it.

I'll admit I'm like that during the winter but not the summer!! Give me a toilet to scrub anyday to keep me out of the 115 degree heat index!!

I'm exactly the same way. Animal and outdoor chores seem fun, but the indoor ones are just plain tedious.
