I just got out of the hospital, I can't go outside and mess with my birds. I'M BORED!!!!'

LOL I've been battling the broken wrist for going on 5 months, I can't do much with one arm. I too was told not to be with my animals but I never listen LOL I fell so many times and got the black and blues to show for it. That's why they say not to go down there alone LOL Funny how I go to the shed the same way for years but when I break a bone I end up tripping over stupid things like a small 12 inch tree branch LOL I am going to take some pictures of my males and females that are pieds but younger then thor so he can see the difference in the colors, patterns and barring of each sexed bird.

Good luck with that, i have posted so many photos that later on someone could come here and get age progression of both male and females .

But it is good to hear that at least 2 newcomers have found the great Thor/a debate to be very educational when it comes to sexing. So something positive has come out of this epically ponderous thread! Plus it's pretty darn funny when it meanders into that alternate reality

I want to see how well you experts of peafowl are, so here is a photo of some peafowl from my neighbor and lets see who can get the variety and the sex correct. Also Calypso isn't a Spalding because last I checked to have a Spalding peafowl you need an ancestor that is a green peafowl. Thor and Calypso are siblings they came from the same mother and father which were both pure bred IB Pieds.

The one on the extreme left is IB male, a juvenile black shoulder male, the one standing is a juvenile blackshoulder hen, and a juvenile black shoulder pied pair sitting on the right end and the one on the extreme right half seen looks like an IB or BS male.

Perhaps I should have mentioned this the four in the middle are about 8 months in this photo now they are 2 years old. You guys got the sexes right but only one variety was correct. But the numbers are incorrect I will give you this one since you can't see his shoulder the one furthest to the right is a BS peacock.
