It embarrasses me to say that I've never noticed.

Pretty easy way to know if your mature birds have any green blood. Deerman used to say that spaldings don't breed true. Sometimes they get more green genes, sometimes less. Feather shape is one of the hardest green genes to lose in cocks. It is almost always dominate.

I can. IB peacocks heads are shorter and bulkier. Almost a circle while a peahen is long a narrow like an oval. I don't use that method because that would say Calypso is a male and Thor is a female.

The face of a peahen will have a brown stripe near the eye, and the peacock will have a blue stripe. That is also a super awesome way to look at a green peafowl face photo and say, "Yes that is a peahen" and people will wonder how you knew that by just the face, although if it shows the crest you can tell a peahen because her crest will have more round ended crest feathers, and the peacock's crest feathers will be more pointy...Anyways that is for green crests.

I don't know what it is about their faces, but peahens seem to have maybe a rounder, cuter looking face. The peacocks have more of a pointed beak. They don't look as cutsie...It is hard to explain...Closeup of peafowl eyes from off of my site:
