One of my (about 13 weeks) Cherry Eggers has looked just like a pullet for the longest time, but now, she has suddenly sprouted this large, red comb and wattles. Everything about her speaks hen to me except for her friendly attitude and large comb/wattles.
What do you think?
Could we see a full body shot? A agree with the above poster, it does look like a hen at point of lay...but at 13 weeks?? If it does start laying soon, then you should totally use her to develop an early-laying strain! You'd make a fortune!
Well, maybe not a fortune, but a few bucks at least
Point of lay is not until around 18 weeks (though there may be ones who lay earlier). Maybe she's just maturing faster than the others? I'll get a full body picture soon.
