Thanks, that will never happen again. I hope, i will be a lot more careful. We scared the person though, i e-mail him back and told him that the fed borrow was investigating the check, he took his profile off of my space. I learn how to check on e-mail from my comp. there is a web site that helps it will tell u where the e-mail adress is from and under whos name. very helpful. :|​

I too would rather be trusting but with so many scams out there, its better to just be careful.

We got several replies from these so-called scammers after my husband posted a couple of items he's trying to sell on the Craigslist site! Makes me so mad They need to be reported.

You can tell they are from somewhere else, as they have horrible grammar and can't spell, capitalize, or punctuate their sentences right.

We almost just got scammed as well! This one was a maltese puppy on CL. Supposedly this person was in Cameroon (West Africa) and they wanted to ship the puppy to us through Afrique Airlines to London, and then onto American Airlines to Sacramento. We contacted American Airlines and they said that in any animal shipment, the animal must remain on the same airline the whole time. We asked the puppy person about this and he said that it would be just fine, just send him the money and he would get the puppy to us. He even gave us an email adress for Afrique Airlines. Except when we looked up Afrique Airlines, the email adress on their website didn't match the one he gave us. So we emailed puppy guy and told him that we would email him back in the morning so we could contact Afrique. We then emailed both addresses, and guess what, we got an INSTANT response from the adress that he sent us saying that everything was set up. Then about five minutes later we got an email from him asking if we had heard back from the airline. We reported him to the FBI, and posted warnings on Craiglist about him. We have found a few exotic bird scams that we believe are from this same person as well.

He informed me that he buys this product at $5,000.00 USD per carton, and that he used to buy morethan 1000cartons quaterly.He asked me if my organisation could source for him a cheaper supplier of this medicine considering the recent trend of fallsin the general price of beef in the world market which is affecting his business.

Back in my office, I discussed this proposal with my boss and he decided to handle the supply by himself.We carried out a market research and discovered that we could purchase this medicine somewhere cheaper in EUROPE for $2,000.00 USD per carton . We moved a proposal to Alhaji to make the supply to them at $4,800.00 USD per carton of which he accepted. Owing to my role in the transaction,my boss offerred to be paying me 15% of total gain after each supply.

But on the completion of the suply my boss renegated on our agreement and refused to give me my share of the profit.Since then our relationship has been at its lowest ebb. I have since accepted it as one of life experiences. However, as God would have it, recently, I ran into Alhaji and he informed me that he would want us to urgently supply him with 1250 cartons of the same product before the end of Next month.I used the oppurtunity to inform Alhaji that I can introduce him to the main producer of this vaccine who can supply him the product at $4,400.00 USD if he will pay in advance as he usually does.

He was very pleased and has assured me that he is not going to contact my boss again for this vaccine. He is now waiting for me to link him to the producer of the vaccine. We will buy the medicine at $2,000.00 USD from EUROPE and sell at $4,400.00 USD TO Alhaji , with him making a down payment of 50% of our quoted price first.

They keep it up because they have had people fall for it, and scammed them out of lots of $$.

Once their scam is caught onto they move on to find other ways to scam. Their wording gets better, etc.

The newest ones I have been getting have been from the "FBI" stating that they have researched the "dealings" I am involved in and have found them to be perfectly legit, and that I have clearance to "cash the check."

Yea right!

just think,, they send THOUSANDS of them out every day, every hour, to almost every country, if they only get 1 idiot out of the bunch a week,,, look at the $ they steal,, with little but a few clicks of work.
