Thousands of questions!

Did something break into the coop?
That’s the only thing we can see happened. I haven’t found a break in the fence or burrowing under it and there’s an electric wire around the perimeter of the bottom of their run and 3 electric wires that line the top. So I haven’t figured it out yet. But it’s my mission to prevent it from happening again!

Could a hawk have taken them?
No 😞 It was a skunk who had been living under the coop for a decent amount of time. The dang thing left the 2 bodies in the coop. It’s still painful! Ouch. So many lessons learned. The rest of the flock are thriving, I’m trying to learn as much as I can. We ended up with at least 3 roosters and that has been interesting and fun! Just yesterday, I noticed one of them is picking on (pecking on 🤷🏻‍♀️) a couple of specific hens and I can’t tell if he’s being a jerk or “flirting”. He’s about 14 weeks old. They all are except the original 3 golden girls (sex links). They’re a year old. These are the 3 roosters. All bantams!

Beautiful little guys. You're going to have to seperate them from the pullets for a few months. I hope you can rehome a couple of them.
