Pics
Here is most of our flock enjoying some salad right now 😆😁 only missing a couple of the darker girls.

All of ours are about 10.5 weeks. Our 2 pekin girls are molting haha so they are half yellow and half white right now.

Wow really?? I’m wondering if my one month old ducklings re big enough, they are about the size of my chickens already! I don’t know if these pictures justify their size any ideas??

It’s not so much about the size as how feathered out they are. But I think we started putting ours out overnight around 5ish weeks? We had to put them back in the shop 2 nights bc we had random freeze come through. But otherwise they’ve done great.

Pic shows them about at about 5-6 weeks

Yep! Totally goes by how much feathering they have. We had to wait to put ours out over night till they were about 7 weeks, the pnw was still fairly cold at night. But they started spending pretty much all of their time outside during the day around 5.5 weeks. This also helped them acclimate better. We did the same thing with the chick's.

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly do you do with ducks? Eat them or get their eggs? Or are they just pets? They are so adorable
We have ours because 1 they are adorable and very comical. If I could upload a video I would 😏

But also we have them for their eggs, they are great for baking with! Or make a large batch of scrambled eggs with em.

Ours will quack at us when we get home or come outside lol like they are saying hello 🤣

I never had a duck egg before do they taste different than chicken eggs?

Yep they are I heard they are a really good duck breed. My first time having ducks so I’m very exited!!
Yes I have heard the same!! If we had done more research before getting ducklings I would have ordered those.

We got our pekins at tsc at the same time we got our chick's, they were too cute to not bring a couple home lol now I want more, but I gotta pace myself 😬😅
