He is pretty, sorry he is so naughty. Mine has been on good behavior today, but I wont turn my back on him until he gets back to normal. At least my guy is good to the girls so I'm holding out hope he will come out of this.

I guess I was pretty lucky in this sense, our rooster (supposed to be a hen) is extremely nice, and will only peck your shoe if he is angered. If I bring in a rake though, he does not attack me at all. The rake is great for emergencies though. Last time he did attack my small dog though, because the dog was a bit too close. Had to use the rake to break it up.

I just got 3 new babies, 2 barred rocks, and another New Hampshire red. That puts me at 10

My son and his friend are putting up my second coop this weekend so the babies will have their own place with a built in run while they get acquainted with the big flock.
