All denominations that developed after Martin Luther are called protestant churches. Examples are Baptist, Methodist,Lutheran, Pentecostal. These are the major ones but all non-denominational churches fall under protestant. Protestant is not a religion but really a movement to reformation of the churches. Baptist have many other churches and I know many have heard about Southern Baptist or Anglican Baptist.
