Good morning. Sorry I have not been here lately. I have been having a horrible time with these withdrawals. I go back to the doctor today and will see what she wants to do. I can't keep going the way I have been or I am going to go crazy and lose my hubby too. Its been hard on him or should I say I have been a beeoottcchh to him terribly bad. And I don't even realize it. I plan on going out to my horse today too which will really bring some solace to my soul. I have purchased more eggs. I am getting some mixed colored silkies, some silver appleyard eggs so hopefully I can find Jonny a mate, and I bought some black and blue Cayuga eggs. I will check in layer. Just wanted to let you know I was alive if anybody cared or was looking for me.

Good morning, hatching friends. Today is day 24 and no internal pip yet, but we are getting close! Ironic that lockdown is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:30pm. That may happen right on schedule.... unless I see clear internal pipping at my 6pm or 6am candles (the last two before lockdown). I did add enough water last night to boost humidity back to 53% as the air cells are looking to be a great size now!

Sheesh, I wish I would have known that rocking on day 20 was normal and not a sign of early hatching.... because now I'm REALLY impatient for them to hatch!

so the pekin eggs are not in the bator =)

the lady offered to replace any infertile eggs for free.
and she is coming to get her chickens sometime ($ for the trio)
and i am going to get a few eggs from her for crafts. since the 2 i did turned out sooo well

So... I decided to candle my eggs just now. It's been 4.5 days. All 12 Ancona eggs showing clear spider veins and 4 of Celtic's goosie eggs have a little spider... Not sure about the 5th yet. It looks alive, but air cell is detached so it is harder to see. Should I prop that one at an angle so fatty end is sticking slightly into air?? I cannot see anything yet in the ebay goosie eggs, although they do not seem clear to me. The shells appear to be thicker than Celtic's so I cannot tell as easily. Those will have to wait a few more days for re-check.

Tell everyone I said hello and I will try to get on here tonight. Hubby is out of town but granddaughter Shelby and I are going to go ride today for a few hours. I can't wait. It has been almost a year since Igot to ride my horse. It is going to be a GREAT day.
