stillmecle- lock down again? what have you got in this time? I've read all the posts, but its hard to keep everyone sorted in my mind correctly.

I notice most of you candle with a flashlight. Is is a flashlight or a special candling tool? I'm cheap, I use a cardboard box with a 75 watt bulb inside. I have two holes cut into the top, one for quail eggs, and the other for duck/chicken/turkey. I just turn on the light, cover the hole I don't need, and set one egg into the other hole.

had a pow wow with a broody hen (cochin chicken) today to put 5 duck eggs under her.
did a few eggs (pics a few pages bck).
and my eggs are still cookin good.

I just got done chasing my mallards all around the neighborhood. That was a comical sight.

They flew out of my yard made a HUGE circle in the air. Landed in the neighbors yard, Flew out of that, got separated, 1 landed at my feet, 1 landed in one neighbors yard, one landed IN the yard. It was ridiculous. Poor ancona boy just stood in the middle of my yard quacking, "Guys! Guys! How do you do that guys?!"

Time to clip wings.

I got an email about my drake today. The lady has a fenced in pond and black swans! Now those would be really neat to have.... Anyway, does anyone know if ducks and swans get along? If this lady is for real, and wants him I may sell her my bigger ducklings too if she wants them. It sounds like she has a duckie dream home.

my neighbor has a big white male swan and a few mallards.
plus chickens.
they all get along good.
the swan and ducks arent buddies but the don't fight either. they keep their distance

i bet that was fun.
1 of mine flew out of their pen once.
and they got their wings clipped the next day.
and the 3 that i bought got their wings clipped before they were put in with the rest.
havent had to clip again since, but i will this spring im guessin.

Wish I could give you an instant fix for twist. I went over everything I could think of in PM yesterday. I say start a post here on the duck section just about her asking Duckyfromoz to chime in. Amiga is another good one to chime in on problems. They might have other ideas.

Sucks to have to clip wings. I like that my geese can take off in flight when a predator comes running towards them.

my air cells don't look very big.

I appreciate all of your help, Celtic!!!!! I'd like to think the drops are at least giving her a nice boost, even if they may not be attacking the problem directly... and it may very well be I am doing everything I can. But, I will take another short video in a little bit and post under a new thread.
