I do believe that careful packaging increases success rate for development, but then again, my cayuga darlings were shipped in the weirdest packaging. They were wrapped loosely with grocery store plastic bags, in a box filled with shredded paper. 2 were broken. 12 went into bator. 11 were fertile. 8 hatched (and a pro hatcher probably could have saved 2 others). Not too shabby?

SM, oh no! Glad you caught it early. Our cabinet did that once right after getting it, had me scared it would do it again.

Jaz, again it is my opinion that the eggs were packed poorly. I am entitled to that opinion since I also ship eggs and take pride in how they arrive. Free, paid for, donated doesn't matter. You pack eggs with great care when sending them to someone to hatch.

Time for a new subject as this isn't worth arguing over.
