You know, I never shared any of my current flock with the group!

Tiny Pekin and Girlie, whose breed I'm unsure of. Guy thought she was a Khaki Campbell.

If you can get some choc chicks, go for the chicks. I think it's the same girl I ordered from up there in WA and I got NOTHING. (well, I shouldn't say that.) But I didn't get a chocolate!!

I got 1 lemon cuckoo Orpington to hatch not really happy with this guy i got 12 of his eggs he sent me 12 out of 12 only 2 where fertile all the other where clear no bulleye nothing.. I emailed him told him I would send pictures but that there was no way these where fertile or I would have more then 1 chick.... He will not do anything I can under stand him not wanting to replace shipped eggs but I ship eggs all the time and I have replace for a number of reasons... Now he will not email me back.... So I paid like $50 for one chick

it not like I was asking him to pay for everything just if I get more eggs send me a few extras to replace the clear ones....

But I do know there is no way I can do anything with just one chick.

I have also been bidding on these but was think of just driving up and getting chocolate chicks for the lady here in WA for $50ea instead of trying to hatch these but I do not know what to do

Hey everyone! I know I havent been on for a while been trying to frantically saving some chicks. None of my speckled sussex hatched!

But all of my cochins that I got from luckypickens hatched and they are adorable little fluff balls. I got one FBCM which isnt surprising the lady I bought them from didnt pack them very well.

None of my BLRW hatched again becasue the lady didnt pack them well and they had damaged air cells. I got one Black Autrolorp, and 3 eater egger which are amazingly cute and puffy cheeked. i am now looking for chicks since I wont have time to hatch any more eggs. I am starting to hatch from all my babies. Will take pictures of babies soon and get them posted.

How is everyone elses babies doing?

I bought RIR from LuckyPickens !!! I had a great hatch AWESOME Peeps to buy eggs from!

That's why I won't buy shipped eggs. I don't like that much risk, neither does my wallet.

Ya'll are braver than I. I really want some Saxony ducks, but I'd either have to get eggs or ducklings shipped.

There is one in Monroe and one in Buckey both have chicks and eggs. Not sure which one you got from. But I'm thinking the chicks would be a good idea I really want them bad

You guys and your sebbies. You almost have me wanting one, but I am in love with my little guys I have. They are so much sweeter than chicks or ducks. Almost as sweet as poults. Mouthy though. I can see I'm going to need to babyproof the coop, run, and yards. I vent sexed them today. I thought the darker one should be the girl, and I was right. I've had all girl ducklings up until now, and my calls are too small so this was the first boy I've vent sexed.

Have you ever used the seller for lemons before? I note that he has 2 negatives from Jan. for eggs, and one changed from January. Hmmm... If theres time, I'd go down to one of the dec. egg people, click on their name, and then send them a message and tell them your thinking of buying from that seller, remeind them what they bought, and ask how it worked out.

I do this all the time! So far, I've narrowly avoided 3 bids that may have cost bigtime. It's also turned me onto better sellers they've discovered. Like here, they also care about egg quality.

Jut a thought. Good Luck! Ive made 3 ebay egg purchases this week, plus arranged for two other egg shipments for March for the Easter Hatch Out.

Gonna have to start another bator!!
