Jazz- when your geese hatched did they internally pip at the back part of the air cell or the swoopy part.

in the middle ish of the air cell but more towards the top... If that makes sense....
I posted a pic of where they pipped... I will have to refind it

My pekins are the puppy dogs of my flock. So funny and friendly... but LOUD!

Mine too! Very sweet personalities, and not near as neurotic and scared as those silly Khakis! We love the pretty white feathers. We pick them up and make cat toys.... (hot glue feathers on a piece of twine, with a bead over the ends, tied to a stick. We go CAT fishing with duck feathers!)

So what have I missed in the last 600 posts ! I just got out of surgery yesterday, so I have been LOOPY for while, & feeling more up to stuff now. My brain is still kinda slow from the meds they have me on right now. BUT

I woke up this morning & 32 mixed purebred Turkey eggs in LD

&

ALL 24 of my WORTH IT FARMS Anconas are bumping in their shells & 2 pipped already in the rotator & today is their lockdown !

ANCONA DUCK pics in your future ! I can't wait for them to hatch & My little turka turka's ~ I have a few breeds in their ~ Royal Palms, Bourbon Reds, ,Midget Whites, Narragansetts!

Glad you're on the path to recovery. Surgery is no fun. (Captain Obvious aren't I?)
