I sent that 5 days ago. I have not heard anything from her since.

I try to just put them out during the day at first to give them a chance to get used to it, but I usually wait until 4 weeks except in the summer when they go straight out there. I don't usually brood geese though, and my goslings are messy and big. They need some space, lol.

I thought you would never ask !!!! I have been waiting patiently NOT!!


 

Well, after Ev and QJ get theres I will send yours. She needs to start laying again!

Which reminds me. I had a guy tell me that Layena is crap. What do you peeps feed your laying chickens? Mine haven't laid in 2 weeks now, and I'm going to switch their feed, but i don't know to what.

TSC here only sells Dumor, so I'm going to Orschlens today.

I feed mine nutrena, or if I go to orscelns I get their brand, country something I think. Layena doesn't have animal protein, and chickens are omnivores so I don't like it for them. Plus purina's dog food and everything else is crap from what I hear, so I don't trust teir chicken food because of that too.

QJ- try some cayenne in their food too. I don't know if that's what worked, but I put a tablespoon or so in their food when they quit, and I had eggs the next day.

She did stop laying. .... Right afylter I put 3 in the bator. She seems to stop laying once her pen gets a little dirty. Cause she did that last year. Her pen got fldirty, she stops laying. Gonna go clean it today, maybe she will start again for me

I use normal 16% layer from the co-op. They do good on that...

Ok. I'll try that then. My TSC only sells Dumor and Purina. But I read that Purina actually makes Dumor specifically for TSC. So they are the same thing.
