So, Evelle, you got a Blue Swedish drake with brown in his feathers? He might not be a 'cross' but I'm afraid that brown in the feathers is a very serious fault and the one that I'd try very hard to avoid

Some strains of Swedish do have it. One of my friends had a few birds that developed a lot of brown. My first two ducks were sisters from the same hatch as hers and they are brown all over. I don't breed from them or refer to them as Swedish. My guess is that Swedish with brown in them are carrying Chocolate - I think it'd mainly show up as brown feathers in blue males due to one dose of Chocolate. Just a wild guess. But it's not a good thing to have.
