Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

CONGRATS !!! I used to volunteer work at the Humane Society & I trained dogs so they would be easier to put in FOREVER homes. Bless Your Family for giving Buddy a Great New Home ! Give him a big smooch & a knuckle one from Jaz!

Thanks QJ! He is lovely. Still a little jumpy though! When he came for a visit last month, he didn't seem at all interested in our birds.

QJ- I love your gosling and I agree, she looks very feminine. I like the photos of that guys sebbies, I hadn't ever seen anyone holding one and didn't realize how small they are. Maybe you can get away with "big duck".
Marty- Buddy looks very sweet. I

boxers and boxer mixes.

I should be getting eggs tomorrow hopefully. Hubby has to work and it's nice out so his friend is going to hang out and help me tomorrow. I'm planning on spring cleaning the chicken coop and putting new fence around the run. I have to hang out and make sure my little buddy isn't getting picked on. Poor little guy gets pecked by the big girls and just runs and puts his head in the corner. Guess his hormones haven't kicked in or he hasn't realized he's the only roo yet. I've been pushing the big girls away when they do that so now chickensh** runs and hides behind me. The silkies are nice to him though(hussies, they squat for anything that comes along, they were following my turkey until I got him), and they hang out in a little clique during the day together.
