CG: I'm searching for a ball right now for Fiona. That's gotta be cute. Hubby took her out last night and held her for like an hour. He loves her. Says she's calmer and more cuddly than the ducks. Suggested I get a couple more.

the ducks scatter when i talk and reach for the, .
the geese aleast come to investigate.

these 2 ducks look funny im use to babies wiff really short beaks. and these guys have long ones lol
i swear one of them stands like a runner sometimes (maryann has a hatchery quality runner there 2)

Yay, my eggs are here. Whole bunch of EE, and my teeny call eggs. I think one might be broke, it was wet when I unwrapped it but I didn't see any cracks candling it, so I'm going to set it this afternoon and see what happens. Thanks Celtic!!!!!
It's windy and we're supposed to get some rain. The tornado sirens just went off, and I was getting ready to go run out and round up all the babies and bring them in when I realized it's the first wednesday of the month and they are testing them I think.

Julie and Still can you both tell me where in the box the bad egg was? This is the first time I have sent call eggs with other breeds. Want to see if I can improve how they ship in the future.

Here are my goslings, in their ugly stage already. They have fluff and pinfeathers sticking out everywhere.

This is my favorite little call. The poor little girl is so fat and round she gets stuck like a turtle on her back all the time.

And here is the coop/run so far. I've got the fence in, a cinderblock apron around it, and the coop spring cleaned. Just need to pick up more bedding, reinforce the gate, and I'm done with it. Then on to tilling and trying to get something to grow in their yard. I think I'm going to cage off sections and plant it bit by bit.

The cribs in there are my rabbit and quail. Not supposed to keep quail around chickens, but my chickens have been jumping on their cage since they've been outside and nothings happened so now they are in there too. Makes it easier for me to feed/water everyone all at once, except the babies who's brooder is still by the house.

Mine was on top of the other eggs. I'm still not sure if it's bad though, lol. I looked for a crack candling and couldn't find one.

got the call at 7am hubby forgot to see what time the post office opened so guess who sat in the parking lot for 1/2 an hour

3 Welsh Harliquin, 3 Cayuga and 4 Buff plus one extra Buff



now I'll go back and catch up

OH! I have one more pip, so that's 7 now. AND nothing is out yet. Noon is the 24 hour period.. but since they are all making progress, I'm going to give them longer.

Almost all pips are getting bigger .
