Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

All these are zipping up. I think they are bass ackwards. Glad to hear you've seen this before.

Utah: Men and geese.. who knew?

Celtic: You can send that little guy to me. He can sleep in my kitchen. ;)
(No really... he can sleep in my kitchen.)

BTW: If you don't hear from me much tmw, it's because I've "offed" myself. I have been conned into watching 4 kids tmw. Two 3 yr olds, my one year old and a 4 month old.

Glad I quit my good paying job to save others on daycare, so they can go to their good paying jobs. Just sayin'.

Hey Christine! Yay on developing eggs!!

Aircells are not always totally symmetrical, but then there are what I call wonky cells where you see air bubble fixed at top fat end of egg but it droops on one side or is really uneven. That is different from detached where the air bubble is not fixed on fat end of egg. If you lay the egg on side, it would look like an air bubble on top of side of egg. Then there is what I call scrambled. That is where there is no defined bubble at all. If you lay egg on side, you will not find a bubble, but if you set egg fat end up, you can make out daylight above fluid which looks sloshy.

As for your air cells getting larger, take a pencil and draw an outline of your aircell. You can monitor evaporation that way and make necessary adjustments.

Ouch, QJ. I am a career woman myself. No human kids. I cannot imagine what you have you go through. I feel your pain.

Thanks GF. I'm a little bitter in how this went down. Feeling a little used right now.

And I won't mention I have to get all those babies in the car to take my 8 yr old to school. Not even gonna mention that part.

Ok, Personal Rant Over! Sorry you all had to witness that. Carry on, carry on.

I have to share a pic I took this morning of Squeak and Twist. They are in a serious nappy stage, but the green in Squeak's face is so cool... and he is getting blue and burgundy colors in his wings. I love these two!! They are so friendly and pet-able!!
