Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Hi Marty. Just been not on lately because of doctor appointments I go to surgery center Monday to have lower back nerves burned.

Who did you get your incubator from? I have always gotten mine fast. I am trying a new brand this time. Should be here tomorrow. Ordered it on Tuesday

GQF Manugacturing I've always ordered my hovabators from them directly, and this is the first time its taken more than 4 days. DAY 10 today.

I called to check on it, hoping it would be in the mail allready, but they said they'd just received the order yesterday, since I ordered off the computer. I sent them an e-mail offering the suggestion that it is a poor business practice to NOT warn people that purchasing on internet will take an extra 7 days! Then they also told me they were a week behind on the genesis model. I have a bunch of eggs in yesterday and today, having ordered 10 days ago, I naturally expected it too be hear by now, and not another week out.

I'm mad and thinking about cancelling my order, and getting one overnighted instead.

Still, I hope the pain stays away. DH has chronic pain, it's no way to live.

Glad to hear the Sebbie egg is growing.

Blood rings bite, I had one this last set in a Sebbie. I forgot those eggs had been in so long already. Time is flying by.

Marty, when those Scovy hatch out and grow up I want to compair size with you. We raise French white Scovy that were bred for meat production. Would like to know if the colors get as nice a size on them as these whites. They are HUGE!

That is totally ridiculous. I have never had anything take that long. I order alot from Incubator Warehouse and get the GQF's and get them within 3 days

I was just checking them out, actually! I'm gonna call GQF tomarrow, and if they won't ship sooner, I will just go to the incubator warehouse. I'm pretty mad, and I don't get PO"d easy.

they both went for higher than I could order them directly from the supplier, so thats what I did. Let somebody else pay $15 higher, after shipping. I've ordered, due in 6 weeks, both magpies and the little (call?) magpies. I'm glad, too, considering the incubator thing. If I didn't want one with a fan, I'd just go to our local farm supply store, and get one there.

marty.... did you get those Magpies???
