Of course, I had the bator open, took the new baby out, tried to put it in the brooder with the pekins and khaki and they pecked at her (fingers crossed), so I put her back in the bator to cheer the others on. While I was in there, I kinda rearranged the eggs to keep them away from the ick from the first one.

I got the kids to sleep early and the goslings were filthy from laying in the mud outside, so everyone got a bath. They had a blast, I love watching the ducklings get the zoomies. The little duckling in the first middle of the geese in the first pic probably did 2 dozen laps back and forth.

The only critter I got to bathe today was my semi-special needs pekin. She falls down sometimes and gets filthy, so she gets occasional warm baths inside.

What you say here, what we read here, when we leave here, we let it stay here. (cause if we talk about it, our family will figure out exactly how many hatching eggs we bought.) DH feaked a little when he found out what i payed for the new bator (thats STILL not here), turner, and candler. He showed him how much cabinet ones, and the fancy ones were, and he shut up then. Besides, its my egg money. He likes to sit and hold Uno, and talk to him. That is gonna be one worthless spoiled bird if another one doesn't get a move on.

I'm getting the "duck hoarder" talk right now.

The one on the left looks like it will start to zip anytime!

Quacks, new hatchlings can stay in the bator 36-48 hours with no issues.

That will be easy. Rouens.. dark. Pekins.. white.. Silver appleyards... yellow with dark mohawk and tail.
Those are the ones I hatched a couple weeks ago. I need to take pics they are HUGE.

Well I have had 3 Craze eggs hatch & 2 more are zipping & one is hanging out.... They are not due to hatch til tomorrow!

(what cute little bantams! ) I can't believe 6 eggs made it in all that mess!

Got my 14 eggs today a pure mix of Silver Appleyerds, Rouen, & Pekins Don't know how many of each I got they were not labeled by breed ~ So a mysteryy hatch! Will need your help never hatched any of them before
