Hey DG, sometime this weekend snap me a pic of my runty! Next time you think of it. No hurry.

Oh, oh, oh, that remonds me! I got 4 pics for you! I forgot to upload them yesterday! Doing that now!![]()

Love the new ducky mama pic!
CG: sounds like you got a lot done! I'm pretty sure I have a broody RIR, but I don't trust her. She's flighty. I don't think they make good mama's. Anybody have thoughts on that?
Fiona isn't getting any signs of feathers yet. And I'm so excited for her to get them. I let her out with me to feed the chickens and she was following me EVERYWHERE. My neighbor got a kick out of that. She said, "That duck thinks your mama!" (Yes, I was laughing.) My neighbor is 70+ so she loves the 2 eggs I gave her yesterday.
Forgot, I also have an internal pip from the fridge eggs due wednesday. Can't believe it's already time for these guys to hatch. Time's going by a lot quicker now that the weather's nicer.
Ugh, just had my whole multi post thing almost done and my baby reached up and pushed some button and it all disappeared.![]()
I just moved my quail into the chicken run so that might be why they aren't laying, although they were laying only an egg or 2 a week before. When I had lights on them they laid wonderfully. I have a string of solar christmas lights to string, maybe that'll help. There were tons of feathers a few weeks ago too, so I think they also are recovering from a molt.
CG- I tried the quack test and only got one to quack. I know for sure at least 3 are quackers, so who knows. Once the kids leave I'll try vent sexing them. If I don't see any pee pees I'll buy some eggs from you.![]()
My goslings got lots of white fluff before they started getting any feathers. They are full of pinfeathers now though.
that is sooo cute..
