Exactly. That makes me feel better actually. My husband had told me last night not to leave them out. He said you never know. I was like, it's one night and they're so comfy together. They will be fine for just tonight.

Luckily, he didn't give me an "I told you so".

Although he totally could have.

OH STACY I AM SO SORRY EDWARD IS GONE.

. No matter how mean he was he was a living animal and its hard to see them go.

I still have a drake. Jonny the Silver Appleyard. I will see what kind of a dad he can be next year. He is very protective of the girls though. He stands back and lets them eat and drink first. He sleeps at the door of their house and follows behind them when they go out to the back yard. So far he seems to have really good qualities. I hope he produces good.

Again so sorry. QJ about Edward.

He was very sweet about it. In fact he said that Beaker better end up being a boy. I said, well it might be a good time to introduce some different genes. And he agreed. That's pretty much a confirmation for a new duck right? I might start looking for one now...

BWah ha ha ha ah ha.

SM: I know it's sad.. I feel like I killed him. But I have to get over that. Because there is always something trying to eat our pets. There is a hawk sitting RIGHT NOW in the tree behind our house. My daughter saw him this morning swooping down in our yard. She said he was huge and brown, and then I found him in the tree. One of these days, he's going to get one too.

One more thing: I'm hoping 70 gets on here in awhile too..

I have one baby duck that is still on it's side. It can't seem to get to the upright position. Anybody have any thoughts on that?

I know more about problems with chicks, not so much ducks..
