Just to make it easier to see

Girl, I can't tell anything from that photo. Could be the second eyelid is stuck, or you could have a blind duck, which might account for the not eating and drinking if it can't see where the food and water are.

I stick by my advice: warm bath. See if it helps little one open his eyes all the way.

I wonder if the mini runners egg are going to be much smaller?? Have you tried craigslisting them?
I don't think the mini runners are laying yet. I'm waiting until next month sometime to segregate and evaluate laying. I've been seeing a new egg every day for the past couple weeks, so they're ramping up. My problem is that I don't have a mini-drake.

15 eggs this morning and still not getting any customers. Who wants 7 dozen eating eggs?

I know. Very bad photo. His eyes look just like that though. The right one is worse. I dont think he is blind. Its his innet eye lids that are shutting up.

Here are the three that I just opened up. The african is the egg in the back in the first pic, and the big toulouse is in the front. Both had externally pipped are were making progress on holes before losing steam. The african was the closest to suffocating.

QJ, I hope this goes a little faster. They are not premature at least. We are halfway through day 30 right now.

You should be getting plenty of customers around easter time! Duck eggs make great craft projects

I can't wait to find out. I'm getting some smaller eggs, but I think it's from the khaki campbells.

Oh have we ever. We're listing them as special Easter eggs out of desperation!

Can you try to let him swim? Maybe if he can dunk his head a few times...

Somewhere on the duck forum, there was someone who had the same problem. Thought their duckling was blind. It's an old thread, so I'll try to find it. You give duckie a bath and I'll get back to you in a bit!
