QJ: yes, I had a crested khaki hen, but her crest wasnt that big. Just a small little tuff. So cute. Love that little baby, I would totally trade one of my for yours ev!

There is supposed to be a storm coming through and I think that's why my phon and my internet is wacky.

Something told me I needed to go check on my ducks nobody else is home. I am so glad I went out there. Sophia, my Cayuga, was stuck between the side of the pool and the plywood. It looks like she slipped off the bricks that I have for them to get in the pool. Who knows how long she had been there but she was happy to be out. While I was there I looked inside their kennel and there was like 15 to 20 eggs laying in 4 nests and then just laying all over. I found some in a nest that I know my Buff had made beccause it was a nice a neat nest and the eggs were covered up. There were 3 Cayuga eggs and 2 white eggs. Well I stole the Cayuga eggs ans brought them in the house. I am going to let tem warm up alittle and then I aam going to stick them in the incubator.

may as well see what happens.

The people I got my Appleyard from has 4 mating pairs of Cayugas. I tried talking them out of a pair but they would not have any part of it.
