Good morning, hatching friends! I feel like a million bucks after sleeping for over 9 hours last night! Man, I needed that! Assisted hatching is stressful and draining, but so worth it!! Here are my new babies after 24 hours. I swear these guys (and my last set of ducklings) have a different level of imprinting with me since I hatched them all out by hand. I love them all so much!!

I re-checked all my remaining eggs this morning. All 5 cayugas and one lonely toulouse egg are going strong on day 19; my 3 precious dewlaps are doing great on day 16, and I am seeing very good fertility on day 4 in both sets of new eggs (saxony & silver apple).... however, nothing is developing in the last 2 toulouse eggs, which is ironic because I would not have bought the sax and sa eggs if I knew that both toulouse eggs would be duds.
How's everyone else's eggs cooking??
got 21 barnyard mix chickens due the 10-12 staggered them a bit so grandkids can see some hatch ( I"m outta my mind) 6 tolouse/roman due the 23rd and 10 (he's crazy

Hey everyone! I have been a busy lady. I wish I could go back and read all posts from the last couple days but man, it would take me a week. LOL
I candled my 2 dozen red/roux dilute quail eggs from thequaillady and only 8 were viable. Pshh....Go figure. They are due to hatch the end of next week. I have had the worst luck with her eggs. I also just set 1 dozen Ancona eggs from Boondocker lines yesterday. Yay!
My 4 fertile quail eggs made it. 3 english whites and a rosetta tux.
And I picked up my Anconas!!! This was just after a swim. They are so cute.
all adorable
