Good idea, he will be pokey. And I'm hoping he is the tom I've been wanting because he will be one of my keepers. Anything this slow and lazy from the beginning can't be a girl...lol.

i got the tape off and they are resting peacefully and the chicks are running around and peeping they as so cute

, my son thinks we should call him/her scotch because that is what my best friend calls tape and it makes him laugh

Maybe you have all toms. Lol, j/k. I hope they move along too. My pokey one is driving me crazy, but he's inching along slowly. 5 of the 6 hatched are a light blue/yellow, 1 is a darker blue/red. I want to see what this one looks like.

All my Eggs that are not due to hatch an tell tomorrow for the Easter Hatch ARE hatching!!!! I think I have like 30 so far....... 1 Mallard Duckling 5 Buff Orpingtons, 4 Lavender Orpingtons, 4 or 5 Barred Rock, 4 or 5 Rhode Island Red, 6 Silkies and 4 Japanese Bantams.....WHY are they hatching on me the day before!

Now my Easter hatch is going to be a bit smaller....

Typical birds. Never hatch when you expect them to!

Hatch is over and I got two beautiful babies!!! My first ducklings ever!!!

Love them! Thank you guys for helping me! I'll be back on the 16th when my next ones are due!

My eggs due for today and tomorrow aren't hatching yet. After the last 3 hatches being early, I'm nervous now. LOL I'm waiting breathlessly for Turkeys, Pheasants, and Geese. The quail are here, the muscovies aren't due for lockdown until monday, but with the waterfowl, I guess I'm more just waiting for internal pip, followed by removal to the still air hova w/68-75% humidity at all times.

I'm gonna hatch some mates for my cayugas in the next few days if it kills me!!!

I just ordered 2 dozen cayuga eggs. Plus I have 10 black swedish and a dozen khaki campbells coming.

I got 2 dozen from Boggy Bottom & 1 dozen from the seller who I bought my Sebbies I just hatched, & she tossed in 3 free sebbie eggs too!!!!!

Free sebbie eggs!!! Going on the bbq?

Ok.. I've got one duck hatched. 3 others pipped. One turkey out on it's own and one more pipped. One other hasn't pipped yet.. hmmmm...

Oh forgot to mention.. the city sewer line is clogged and backing up into our basement. So gross.. so gross. Waiting for the city to get here. Hopefully they will reimburse me for the plumber I just paid to find the problem.. (which turns out really wasn't my problem.. it was the city's.)

i still have many in the chick bator hatching and 2 drying off. and 3-4 in the ducky bator absorbing yolk

how would you go about getting electrical tape off a baby ducklings face?

the one on the all the way right is from one of my eggs and i think he/she is full bo 4 out of the 7 eggs i put in the bator of my own have hatched already and 3 were fridge eggs

Oooh, what kind of cow? I've always wanted a cow, lol. I think I'd be more excited about that then chicks ya know..
