CG, more fun to brood them inside too I've kinda gone off incubating under broodies....you can't see what's happening!!!

Stacy, fingers are crossed for a much better result this time!!!

Well since i have calls the hens do a better job incubating
But i need to bring them in at hatch im having bad luck with shrink wrap
Had to assist 15 babies from sundays hatch
3 died from leg issues
But it was still an 88% hatch rate
And 1 babies recovered from her leg problem
So im ok with loosing the other 3

88% is great, CG. I'd be thrilled with that. Good job on getting such a great result out of so many shrink wrapped eggs.

In the am i am bringing the eggs in and re candaling the black hens eggs. Which will prolly also all come in

It's good to have a break in between hatches... staggering them is no fun.

Iain. Well the hens did it for me
I sat as they went broody. So not a big deal except that these screwy hatches take a toll.
