that's alright i was helping hubby fix his trailer today and this is how it went

me: do you want me to hold it down while you screw it
hubby: sure
me: "giggle, giggle" guess you thought you would never hear me say that "giggle, giggle"
hubby: what?
me: "giggle, giggle"
hubby: get your mind out of the gutter
me: "giggle,giggle"
5 year old son: Look daddy we are all helping hold it down while you screw it
me: on the ground dying of laughter

i thought hubby was gonna turn blue he was trying so hard not to laugh

Speaking of rank roosters.....I have a black Orp roo...gorgeous bird, as wide as he is tall. But the rankest rooster I've had in a long time. Sucker is always trying to get me, and I'm always threatening to get my gun. He would hurt me pretty good if he actually landed a good one on me. Anyway, I'm out doing chores this evening and I hear ruckus on the other side of the chicken coop. I go look, and that rooster is choking! His comb and wattles were turning dark blue, he's starting to melt into the dirt, and I'm like wth? So I grab my "rooster be good" stick, (one of many placed in strategic places around the place) and smack him across the back and yell "breathe you idiot!" His head comes up, and his comb and wattles start turning red again, and he gets back up, and just looks at me. I went on with chores, and when I went to go do lockdown, he was on the roost with everyone else. I hope tomorrow that he remembers I saved his life....I hate having to watch my back!
