Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

I'm sure he will find all of this interesting reading. I don't know if he can convince anyone to help him though.

My buff babies are at my local post office. I get to pick them up in 15 minutes!!

They made it!!! They look skinny and scraggly, and they did a decent job beating each other up on the trip. One girl has a swollen cheek and the other girl is missing all the hair on the top of her head. But they are very chatty (they are having a major conversation with my grey dewlaps while I type this post), active, eyes & nares clear and drinking water well. I expect they will devour food too once I offer it to them.

I guess thats why it is easy for me. To clarify ~ My animals have a great way of life, eat good, free range etc. So I think quality of life is very important. No matter what the end means is. Yes I am going to eat all my geese (someday) & my chickens/rabbits/guineas/&ducks, BUT they are spoiled & LOVED ALL THE WAY TO THE TABLE.

Celtic - thoughts, prayers and hoping for a speedy recovery for hubby.... BTW go to patient advocate if you think they are not doing enough for him (we deal with the VA for DH"s health)
