I love me some pee pads! Especially with ducks. good grief.


Ok funny story:

My husband, who acts like the ducks are just SUCH a pain, brought home one of those little watering dishes. It's the kind that you would water a cat or small dog with. Like a tube you fill with water and then turn it upside down and the water comes out slowly.. Okay, well he comes home and presents me with this waterer he found in some store, on clearance, for Beaker and Bunsen.

Super sweet right?

Well, I thought this would probably happen... and it did. He was so excited about his duck purchase. I filled it up and put it in their cage. (which is one of those big black dog kennels for the inside.) And Beaker and Bunsen in a matter of minutes, had ALL that water in the cage. The plastic floor that you can slide out to clean was FULL of water.

So gross.

My daughter comes inside and says, "Um, Mommy? There is a pond in the duck cage."

She was right. That's how the ducks ended up in my bathtub that night. It took me awhile to clean that out.

So if you've ever wondered how much water a puppy pad can absorb? The answer is NOT a 2 litter bottle worth..
