Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

I had to get out of bed, let the dogs out, go pee, let the dogs back in, get dressed. I haven't even brushed my teeth yet. But here goes.......

The grayish colored one is all over the place. Its sitting up, flapping his wings and then takes off runing as best as he could. The black one with the yellow stripe is sitting up and walking around so is the all black one. One of the yellow ones are crawling all over the other ones. The other 2 yellow ones have their feet moving but they are still laying down. The one I am worried about is the little multicolored one. He isn't doing much unless I hold him, then he holds his head up and his feet start moving. Its hard to get pics of them because they are moving so fast. The gray one almost went over the side of the incubator.

I still have to get the bathtub ready for them. I am putting a tarp in and taping it in the tub. I will have the food and water near the drain. And the light will go towards the back where their baby soft wood shavings will go.

Hubby didn't say much about them last night. He knows this is good therapy for having to put my cat to sleep. Pics will come when I can get them.

If you have any puppy pads, they might work great in the tub. I use them with beaker and it saves a lot of mess.

Im useing rags with my chicks, but puppy pads would work better (and ssshhhhh, dont tell my mom

Glad to hear the babies are doing mostly ok SM. When mine were babies I just used a bunch of old towels/rags. Puppy pads would work great too.
Evelle- Glad to see you back.
