I have not candled them ~ Keeping bator closed except for LD & hatching. I think I fractured my RIGHT wrist ~ SO typing is very slow. So short posts & I cannot reply to all posts ~ or I won't ever get off dat azz! My CAYUGAS are doing awesome.

I bought 5 dozen OHIKI chicken eggs, 70 Ancona, another auction of Swinehoe Pheasant, and just bought an auction of Edwards Pheasant. A few dozen of Khakis. 50 Welsh, Blue Swedish, Pekin, Cayuga eggs (all together)

My Cayuga eggs are fertile !!!!!! I will be hatching some soon! Only had to toss 5. Not bad for first eggs layed.

Beautiful! How do you plan on cleaning them? I had a 100 gallon tank buried. I had a hose connected to the drain to drain it, and bucketed out the last 4 inches of gunk every few days but couldn't keep it clean enough so I gave up and dug it up and switched to a kiddie pool I can dump each day. If I could figure out how to keep it clean I would love to be able to use the tank again. The ducks loved diving down in that thing.

I've been really busy, and BYC has been acting up quite a bit and being to slow for me to post when I am on here.

I'm on FB quite a bit though if anyone wants to chat on there, and once things slow down a bit I'll be back.

And I'm still hatching, always hatching, lol. Just sizzles the last few months though, no more duckies for me. Yet, I haven't been able to find any runners so am thinking about finding some eggs. Wondering how well they'll ship in the heat though?
Yay on the khaki being a girl! Still trying to find my runners, which is your fault ya know, lol. All those cute little runner baby pics.

Marty: My anconas? Or quail? Both are doing great. Shipping off 5 anconas to Jaz on Saturday. That will leave me with a trio and a couple meaties. It has been hell trying to keep my backyard intact after all the rain. I think I jumped in a little too far over my head. I don't need an immaculate back yard by any means but I really don't want a mud pit eithert. Quail are doing well, fertility is up and I am getting 7 eggs a day. I will have to get a pic of my scarlett male, he is so pretty. Bator is empty and might throw in some quail eggs soon. I haven't decided yet. I try to pop in to check on how everyone is doing in here but don't always have time to sit and actually post. I mean well. How are things on your neck of the woods Marty?


Utah, I watched your penguin video the other night. That is amazing. I really hope your can get a teva boot for your baby. That would be amazing.

Kev, I saw your new babies the other day too and they are adorable.

I know there are many other posts that I am forgetting about, I really enjoy reading about your experiences. I feel that I am enjoying and hurting along with you.
