Iain, now we both have 4 buffs and 1 gray! LOL You know, my little gray dewlap is a little guy. He's only two days apart from everyone else, but he's just not even near their size. I also note that instead of the double hiney dewlap, he's got just a left butt dewlap, not the double roll of everyone else. (KInda the toulouse equiv. of a one hump camel you might say). I'm afraid he's just not gonna be as big in the end, but who knows.

They are lovely, Iain.

Triplell, I've yet to hear a duck complain about a wet pen! Although, mine complain constantly about a dry one.... LOL

Thanks! He sounds just like my grey dewlap boy (not pictured in group). Not sure he is worthy of dewlap breeding, but maybe he and chicory can make huge Toulouse babies.

By the way, I sold my last pair of Toulouse from my eBay eggs tonight. The family that got my first pair sadly had their boy hit by a car and so they rushed out to get these guys so their remaining girl would not be lonely. Not to mention the gander was their 13 year old daughter's. She was heartbroken, but now she has new birds to hopefully love.

I almost can't tell them apart now, except personality. Ferdinand is standoffish and he also has a grey dot under his eye. Fergie thinks I'm her mom so she's always running up to me.

Hi everyone! Happy fourth of July!

My muscovy hen Jadzia has something wrong with her eye, I am not sure what. She keeps the inner eyelid(?) up most of the time so it looks cloudy and periodically has her outer eyelid up too. It does not seem swollen or foamy. I gave her a warm bath and then let her dry and kept her in over night. She seems to be eating and drinking well.
